Questions people ask Dave.

Torque arm or pin: which hanger do I need?

It depends on how your bike keeps the hanger from turning when you brake. A torque-arm hanger has an arm that a rod runs from, forward to the frame. A pin-type hanger slots over a pin on the swing arm. Not sure? Text Dave a photo of your swing arm at (775) 233-6636.

10.5″ or 11.75″ disc?

Both fit most quick-change hubs, and every hanger comes in a version for each size. The 11.75″ pin-type hanger also works with a 12.00″ rotor.

Two-ear or three-ear knock-off?

Two-ear nuts are the old Barnes style; three-ear nuts are A&A style. Each has its own wrench, and the builder adds the matching one.

How do I tell you the sprocket teeth or carrier size?

Put it in the order notes at checkout, e.g. “520 sprocket, 52 teeth” or “1-1/4″ carrier”. Dave reads every order.

What if a part is sold out?

The builder still lists it so you know what goes with what, but leaves it out of the cart. Call or text Dave: he may have one coming or a used one on the shelf.
